Dr Thiago Mineli has a degree in medicine from the Community University of Chapecó (Unochapecó). He is also a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and a postgraduate in Dermatology with a specialisation in Hair Transplantation.

He told us: "I always had an interest in the field of aesthetics, and on a visit to a friend's clinic, I happened to meet someone with a great reputation in hair transplantation. I was his student on the transplant course and then worked under him at his clinic. I still consider him a mentor."
