Article 1.0: Understanding and acknowledgement
1.1: The nature of the treatment will be explained to the client as well as any associated risk.
1.2: The client will inform the clinic/practitioner of all medical conditions he/she is aware of including, but not exclusively:
- Disorders of the hair and scalp
- Abnormal Heart Condition
- Cold Sores (Herpes Simplex)
- Rheumatic Fever
- Prolonged Bleeding
- High Blood Pressure
- Low Blood Pressure
- Or bleed easily
- Bruise easily
- Thyroid Disturbance
- Fainting or Dizziness
- Kidney Diseases
- Tumor, Growth or Cysts
- Healing Problems
- Dermal Fillers/Botox
- Keloid Scarring or scar easily
1.3: Vinci Hair Clinic shall not be held liable for any damage occurring as a result of the client´s failure to disclose such details.
1.4: The client will list all medications taken in the last 30 days. The client should avoid taking Aspirin or Ibuprofen in the two days prior to the session and must inform the clinic if they have done so.
1.5: Pre and post op photos of the client will be taken and are to be used at the clinic´s discretion and in accordance with its legal requirements for documenting all work done. The client can request for his or her identity to be kept private.
1.6: Vinci Hair Clinic reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice.
1.7: Vinci Hair Clinic reserves the right to amend our pricing structure at any time and without prior notice.
Article 2.0: Treatment
2.1: PRP treatment is the choice of the client and the client alone and the client agrees to any actions or conducts reasonably necessary to perform the treatment.
2.2: Since PRPuses your own blood, you should not have a reaction to it. Studies have noted that PRPhas been found to have a positive effecton male and female pattern hair losswithout major adverse side effects. You may experience minimal pain, pinpoint bleeding, and redness when the injections are being delivered.
2.3: Overall, PRPis an especially safe treatmentoption with no risk of allergic reaction because it is your own blood. However, anytime a needle is placed in the body, there is a risk of infection, bleeding, and nerve damage. These risks do not happen often, and are very rare. Other risks depend on the area being treated.
2.4: PRP is a non-surgical therapy in the treatment of hair loss. Highly concentrated growth factors in the form of platelets have been shown to stimulate new hair growth, thicken thinned out hair, and make hair transplants grow thicker and healthier.
2.5: Individual hair restoration results following PRP therapy vary. This can depend on specific variables like your skin type. Due to variable factors, Vinci Hair Clinic can give no guarantee as to the success of the treatment.In most cases, multiple treatment sessions and follow up visits to monitor your results are necessary to ensure optimal hair restoration.
2:6: PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma therapy is not a permanent solution for hair loss. PRP gives hairs strength for a limited period.
2.7: The Platelet Rich Plasma therapy takes approximately one to two hours, including preparation and recovery time.Due to numerous variables, these sessions may be shorter or longer than estimated.
2.8: The person or persons carrying out the treatment have undertaken training under the supervision of a qualified medical practitioner and holds the qualifications to deliver the treatment. Vinci Hair Clinic cannot guarantee continued treatment with a specific technician.
2.9: Vinci Hair Clinic reserves the right to cancel the procedure in the interest of client safety in such cases where the client is deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In such an event, full payment will be retained as a cancellation charge.
2.10: All treatments are non refundable this includes if it is deemed that the client has failed to disclose known medical conditions or other possible contra-indications to treatment to Vinci Hair Clinic in advance of their treatment that subsequently result in the cancellation of their treatment in the interest of client safety.
Article 3.0: Payments
3.0: The client will be quoted a fee for the treatment. Vinci Hair Clinic will complete the work for that fee.
3.2: Full treatment cost of one or more treatments must be paid in advance, this can be paid by card over the telephone, by cash in person or by bank transfer. Until such time a payment is placed, the client´s desired booking date will remain available for other clients to reserve.
3.3: If undertaking a treatment package, the balance must be settled in its entirety before undergoing the first treatment session.
3.4: We accept: Visa and MasterCard, cash and bank transfers, please note we do not accept cheques, American Express or Laser cards. Card payments must be accompanied with photographic ID. Bank transfers must be initiated in advance to ensure all funds have cleared by the first treatment date.
3.5: If paying by card on your procedure day, please advise your bank of the payment in advance so that they are aware it is a genuine transaction. Payment must clear prior to treatment commencing, so any issues with blocked transactions may result in the cancellation of your treatment and the retention of your deposit.
Article 4.0: Appointments and Cancellations
When you ask us to schedule treatment for you, we must do several things in advance of your chosen date:
- Reserve the treatment room and treatment time for you
- Order and pay for any treatment supplies or sundry items that are required to fulfil your treatment
- Secure the necessary specialised technicians that will be needed, and/or provide coverage to free them up from their other responsibilities. We must guarantee that we will pay them for this time regardless of whether or not you have treatment
- We must turn down every other client who would like to have treatment on the day and time we have reserved for you
Because of the financial and time commitments we must make, we ask that you be definite about your desire for treatment and be certain that you have the funds available before asking us to schedule your treatment.
4.0: A full payment of one or more treatments is required to secure your booking. If you request the cancellation of your treatment, the treatment is non-refundable and your payment will be retained as a cancellation charge.
4.1: If you are financing your treatment, do not request us to reserve a treatment date for you unless you are certain that you wish to proceed with treatment. If you later cancel your personalised treatment, a calculation will be made according to our terms and conditions to include any direct charges imposed on the clinic by the finance company for the provision of these services.
4.2: Cancellations due to emergency or illness will be assessed on an individual basis. Postponements caused by unforeseen events will be assessed on a case by case basis.
4.3: Should you arrive for your treatment without any means of paying the agreed treatment cost that is due, Vinci Hair Clinic reserves the right to cancel your session. An additional administration fee of £150.00 would be chargeable to reschedule your treatment to an alternative date and the deposit sum would be retained to compensate the clinic for loss of time and earnings.
4.4: Personalised treatment package sessions do not carry a specific value. The treatment quote given to the client covers the treatment in its entirety. Once you have committed to treatment with us, should you decide to discontinue treatment, Vinci Hair Clinic will not be liable to reimburse/refund in whole or in part against personalised treatment sessions or for any value in whole or in part against personalised treatment sessions not yet undertaken.
4.5: Personalised treatment package sessions do not carry a specific value. If you have a prior agreement with the clinic to divide your balance payment, you will be liable for the full cost of the personalised treatment sessions should you decide to discontinue treatment with any balance still outstanding for your treatment.
4.6: Vinci Hair Clinic will not be liable to reimburse/refund in whole or in part against personalised treatment packages that have already been completed, reserved or paid for in their entirety.
4.7: Vinci Hair Clinic will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to schedule, however, for reasons beyond our control, we may need to cancel or postpone your treatment at short notice. In this unlikely event, every effort will be made to contact you in advance. We do not offer compensation if we cancel your appointment.
4.8: Vinci Hair Clinic will not be liable for costs arising from scheduling changes in the provision of our PRP services, including (but not exclusive to) travel costs, accommodation costs, any economic cost to the client relating to time taken off work or loss of potential earning.
